Finished up my temp job a week early.

Meaning I have now 2 whole glorious weeks off to crack on with my courses and clean the flat and pack up.

Decided to leave early because I began to feel very uncomfortable working there. You know how walls have ears......well, so do the permanent staff. Staff who seem to run back and forth to the big boss whispering. They sacked one of my colleagues because of all this whispering. Not to her face. They waited until she had a morning off, and got the agency to do their dirty work.

There is a procedure for this kind of thing. I have seen it done before. You get a verbal warning (ie a second chance) and if that doesn't work it goes to a written etc etc. But for some reason they thought it best to sneak around.

Oh, and they played a silly game with all of our entry passes. Taking them all off us pretending that our IT man had to do something with them. But really they just wanted her's off of her. Just in case she came back.

My decision of an early exit caused a right do to with the manager. I use the word manager loosely as I have never dealt with someone who behaved like a mardy school girl.

Anyway, I felt like whatever I said and my movements were being constantly monitored so I thought, fuck this, I don't actually need to be here so away I have gone!!

The manager rang me today and offered me the position.

Best news being that they don't want me starting until the 30th. So I'm gonna work until next Friday and then have a week off to pack our things and clean the flat ready for moving out! It's all go so it is.

Photoshop tonight. Just waiting for my hash browns to cook so I can eat on the run.

So, got that job.

The agency called me on Friday saying that the manager needs to speak to the executive and they'll phone me tomorrow to talk about the position. I am assuming this executive will just agree to employing me. It's all a bit weird. I must have had the right personality or something. No idea.

I am also the prop and prompt girl for Players Angels.

I am very excited. We have had a costume meet and have already got all our pieces picked for the actors. Another meet tomorrow night. It's all rather exciting no?

Had my interview there.

It was a bit cringey. I didn't get to say everything that I wanted to say - the lady talked a lot and I found myself trying to interject with witty and interesting points on why she should hire me.

Oh well, tis done now and I just have to hope they like me enough. Seemed like a nice wee office to work in though.

In other thoughts, how old should you be to make up a will? I was thinking the other day that if I died no-one on here would know as I am the only one who knows the password and you would all think I was an ignorant crap-bag for not saying cheerio. I've already told the fella that if I died he'd have to come on here and tell everyone. He said he wouldn't do that and would come on and pretend to be me.

I'd like to put all my passwords for things in a will - can you do that??

I am busy.

Oh, and I have an interview next week for that job in town that I really, really want to get.

Oh, I'm too ill to go see Eddie Izzard tonight. Says he.

After months of looking forward to this gig he was hocking our tickets to friends on Facebook.

Then Liverpool won their wee game. He was as right as rain to go out after that. I had got used to the idea of a cosy night in as because of his man flu I haven't seen him for about 3 days as he has been hibernating under the duvet.

So we went. And he was ok. Not as good as he was when he was younger. Maybe he's too Hollywood now.

But he looked amazing.

Started my theatre course on Wednesday.

The cast of Cocoon turned up.

Seriously, it was really very good. Although I was probably the youngest there by about 30 years. We were joined by playwrite Leo Butler who is an award winning writer. Never heard of him but he was so enthusiastic about what he does for a living it started to rub off on me. And I have never considered writing a script before! He talked to us about how he got started and the whole process and at the end of the session he asked us to write a simple scenario, a love story, just for ourselves. We all looked a bit scared and I know I thought I'd never be able to write something but don't you know, I wrote something that I think I can take further. If not as a script but certainly as a short story.

Got an interview on Tuesday for audio typing so hopefully I will get something good out of the meeting as the job I am doing now, whilst everyone is great and I am getting on well with them, I just don't know how much longer I can go on with it. I have now gone into bitterness over the whole redundancy thing. I had a great job which I adored.....and now I don't....

Ah well, at least I'll find out who the father of Heather's baby is tonight.

Been busy.

Finished my head cold on Sunday. Now I have a regular cold.

Maybe I should have gone for that flu jab.

Anyhoo, the job is pretty damn boring but it pays my bills and gets me off the dole - the only reasons why I am there. And I am hoping I can get an interview for this job in town which I would really like. I should know either Thursday or Friday.

We've also re-bought the house. So all going well we should be in within the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Jesus I'm tired.

Oh, went to see Michael McIntyre last night. Hilarious.

So I have a job.

And a few others!! The phone hasn't stopped ringing today.

This be the order of phone ringing:

1) An agency called saying that they were going to forward my CV to their client for a job I applied for yesterday
2) A woman called about a job I applied for weeks ago asking me to attend an interview on Friday
3) The agency woman that I've been waiting for rang me and asked me to start on Monday!!!!
4) Another agency that I am with rang and offered me a receptionist job - I turned it down
5) Another agency phoned me there about a job I applied for yesterday and my CV will be put forward etc etc

Now, I've had 2 months of nothing. Of sheer hell and here we are with 5 opportunities in as many hours. I have no idea what I am going to do. Although I am def going to start the job on Monday the last job is in town and is more money and has the opportunity of going permanent.

The fella said to start the temp job on Monday and if I need to go on an interview for the last one on Thursday then I should just go for it. Hmmm how annoying is this?

I also have a head cold and was looking forward to snuggling under my duvet all day trying to catch up on the sleep I lost out on last night.
