As part of the new year and also part of our "moving-to-a-new-city-so-we-must-do-new-and-sociable-things" pact, today, instead of going to Asda we decided to go to tesco's instead. Oh, we are crazy kids.

I'm a creature of habit and routine so 'stepping out of the asda box' was very exciting indeed.

The fella insisted that he knew where the Tesco's was, "I know exactly where it is'" He said with confidence. "It's right up the road on the left somewhere. We went past it when your parents came over that time."

I, however, wasn't so sure. I thought it was up a totally different road that time my parents came over. "No, it's definately up this road. Come on, trust in your fella."

Ok, I thought I would put my trust in him..........45 minutes later (it should have been a 6 minute drive) we were driving along a deserted country-fied road...mist descending in on us with nothing but fields and an old lady in front of us doing 30miles on a 60 mile road. "Er....I don't think this is right." Said the fella. "You don't say." Said I. I don't even think we were still in Yorkshire. >:-(

So, we had to come back home to google tesco. And would you believe it.........Tesco's was down the very road I said it was down. Did I get 'oh sorry about that love, you were right all along?' Did I bugger.

Lesson today is trust in your instincts and you will always find a Tesco's Megastore.
