I can't go anywhere for 2 days.

Came back from a routine contact lens check-up from the opticians and the lady (who I thought was a little drunk) said that she thought I had a slight infection. This means that I have to wear my hideous glasses (in child size as none of the adult ones would fit me :-/) for 2 days straight then I can wear the new contacts she gave me. She thinks the infection was caused by the solution I was using so hopefully by the time I see her again (hopefully sober this time) the infection will have cleared up and all I have to do now in the future is buy a different solution. I hope it'll have cleared up by then - I wonder if the NHS does eye transplants. :??:

Was planning on shopping tomorrow with a friend from work but because of my vanity I've had to postpone it until next Friday. :**:

Baby update - the fella's sister has been booked in for a c-section tomorrow. I know she's scared but after a couple of inducing injections/tablets nothing was moving and because of her age and the fact the baby is 2 weeks over due and quite large they have no other choice. Fingers crossed it all goes well.
