Redundancy threat over...now I have a job interview.
Not sure how this has happened. Maybe there is some truth in that saying that 'It's easier to find another job when you are in a job.'
I'm definitely going to go to this interview HOWEVER I don't know when.
I'll have to ring them tomorrow to arrange an interview which can only be when I get back off honeymoon in 2 weeks or either Tuesday or Wednesday this week. I would rather it was after honeymoon as it'll give me time to get my portfolio together and also means I won't have to 'phone in sick' to my current employers coz I have no holiday left to take.
Mmmmm. Awkward. I'll just have to have a conversation with them tomorrow and *hope* they wait for me. Also, I don't know what the wage is - is it cheeky to ask over the phone? It would have an impact on whether I think it's worth arranging an interview in the first place as it involves an hour long journey to work every day IF I got the position.
Other news - bridesmaids gifts done. Just the order 'o' service and place names to print out and make look pretty. Oh, and have a full leg wax on Wednesday
This is my first time. I am pretending it won't hurt a bit. Oh, and I pick up the dress on Weds as well. Yiiiipppppeee.

definitely phone up and ask what the wage is, some places will be happy to interview you at your own time, but you could ask work for some time off for 'family/personal reasons rather than using up sickpay.
Good luck if you go for it. That commute could be a bugger, factor in the extra (ever-increasing) transport cost, as well as the morning/evening lost with your new hubby when you weigh up job.
Not long now, hope the leg wax doesn't hurt too bad, never had one either and don't intend to start now.
You will be busy,
hugs
