How long does one take these laxatives for?

The doc has given me enough until Friday. but I feel like I am 'cleaned out' already and I have upped my fruit and veg and water intake over the last few days.

Apparently you can get dependent on laxatives - I don't want that to bloody well happen so I may give it the rest of the weekend then stop and see what happens after that.

In other news - had a dream about Nigel Harman last night. Very nice.

Plagued with the cramps again.

Turns out the buscopan I have been taking for my 'IBS' are having the opposite effect - by giving me cramps rather than taking them away. So the doc gave me laxatives in a lemon drink concoction. And.......they are so far helping with the pain. I feel like back to my old self. As for any movement 'down there' the doc said it would take a few days for it to properly kick in.

So I am now officially on poo watch.

I don't think the fella was impressed with my 'snort laughing' as he put it, at all Elijah the Solicitor's jokes. I was only being polite

He reckons we could be in the house by the end of next month which is way sooner than we anticipated!! We'll probably have further meetings with Elijah the Solicitor.....it's probably best the fella goes on his own.....

I daren't think about what would have happened if he looked like Nigel Harman.

Had a week off work there and didn't blog once.

Anyway, we've been to Bridlington to walk along the cliffs and look for Puffins. BBQ and whisky followed by the Wii (which I'd never played before) and ran over the lot of them with my bowling skills.

What else? It was the fella's birthday, didn't go to my class as I was in Brid, no more progress with the house - we are just in the boring waiting stage, nowt else to write about. Will be making a chocolate cake as my Sozzled Baker is looking quite sad with only one recipe on it.

Erm.....that's it....

Life is pretty dull at the minute - all this saving business is so fucking tedious. I really want the box set of Jonathan Creek - it's being sold for an amazing £17 on Amazon which is about 75% off!! Normally I'd just buy it but because of the damn house I "had to ask my husband if I could buy it" !!!!!!
