How long does one take these laxatives for?

The doc has given me enough until Friday. but I feel like I am 'cleaned out' already and I have upped my fruit and veg and water intake over the last few days.

Apparently you can get dependent on laxatives - I don't want that to bloody well happen so I may give it the rest of the weekend then stop and see what happens after that.

In other news - had a dream about Nigel Harman last night. Very nice.

Almost - I won tickets to see him in Dublin when I was about 9 - my dad said I couldn't go because I was too young
