....well I disagree with the disgruntled, possibly drunk at 10am, scouser.
I thought it was a lovely place. Much like Barcelona in size. And there were spaniards everywhere. There was even what looked like a Spanish youth football team walking about who were ALL flippin gorgeous
So, we went to Liverpool yesterday just for the purposes of getting my passport updated and it was quite hard finding any scousers! (Apart from yer man above of course!) The two folk we asked for directions were both from dahn saff. There were Americans, posh people and Irish people. I was a bit disappointed seeing as, in my humble opinion, the scouse accent is the sexiest accent in England.
There were, of course, loads of spanish about - may have been because Liverpool where playing Althetico Madrid - who Luis Garcia (one off my 'allowed list') plays for!! Couldn't believe he was in the same city at the same time as me and I forgot me camera.
We wanted to catch the Liverpool tourist hop-on hop-off bus so we could go to Anfield but we couldn't find where we were supposed to catch it from. Just as well really as I daren't imagine what would happen if I saw Luis. There may have been a certain amount of rugby tackling occuring.......
