Cringey

Had my interview there.

It was a bit cringey. I didn't get to say everything that I wanted to say - the lady talked a lot and I found myself trying to interject with witty and interesting points on why she should hire me.

Oh well, tis done now and I just have to hope they like me enough. Seemed like a nice wee office to work in though.

In other thoughts, how old should you be to make up a will? I was thinking the other day that if I died no-one on here would know as I am the only one who knows the password and you would all think I was an ignorant crap-bag for not saying cheerio. I've already told the fella that if I died he'd have to come on here and tell everyone. He said he wouldn't do that and would come on and pretend to be me.

I'd like to put all my passwords for things in a will - can you do that??

Put your passwords on a memory stick and bequeath it to who you want to have access..

Yes. You can put whatever you like in a will! The only problem is they may be out of date by the time you die - Hopefully in the distant future so you would have to change the will regularly.

A better solution is to put in your will where to find your passwords. That way you don't actually have to tell anyone what they are and can change them without having to change your will!

i made a will when i was six.
left everything to my gerbil.

I was thinking about the very same thing the other day regarding if i popped my clogs..How would anyone here know! then i figured that BDA would tell everyone as Mum would tell her...Sorted! Id not let OH have my password that is for sure x

    I agree..It is practical! Imagine all the bloggers not knowing where we had gone..when all along we were departed!Makes you think that is for sure..And i have'nt got a will..Perhaps I should do one..Just in case! x

Fingers crossed re the job.

As for the will, I think you should make one as soon as you have assets or belongings that you want to pass on to someone in particular. But it would be unusual to put passwords in a will - just refer them to your instructions that you keep in a letter to be opened - I think.

  Well, when we have the house I suppose then is the best time to make a will as it'll be the only decent asset I will have!! Letter's a good idea

Jack has the right idea hun. I asked hubby if he would do it for me but I am sure he would be far too grief stricken to cope with it - but ditto for Milly's comment x

Eep. But at least you tried your best in the interview. I wish mine were more often like that, it feels slightly uncomfy when it's just questions and answers without filling in the gaps!

  I hope I've done ok - you never know really do you. Sometimes I think it all boils down to personality and whether they think I'd fit in. Fingers crossed anyhoo. xx

fingers crossed on the job front!

I'm thinking of making hubby a co author on happys bump so he can let y'all know when Bump is born and post piccies, otherwise I'll have to text Usky and rely on him to let y'all know!

Wills - I keep thinking i should do one, as long as hubby succeeds me he knows what i want done with my stuff, but if we were to go together we'd be screwed. But goodness tis a sad thought

  Yes - make him a co-author! I wondered how we would get the news and it would be ages before we heard from you cos you'll be too busy enjoying being a mummy.
  
  The will thing is a bit morbid but it's good to have things in order I think - once we're in the house I think I will have a proper look into it
